Eddie has been in the pub/hospitality industry for many years, starting from a teenager he worked himself up through the ranks holding several senior management positions with various establishments and breweries. In addition to Lancashire & Yorkshire Ale & Food House, Eddie also provides business consultancy services to accountants who look after pubs as well as consulting for one of the North West’s largest regional brewers.
Nick has always worked in retail and marketing, holding senior marketing positions both within the UK and abroad. He made a brave leap into the hospitality industry six years ago and has held various business development positions for most of the national pub companies since. More recently Nick became the commercial manager for a large regional brewery where he looked after the commercial interests of their growing pub estate.
Nick and Eddie met in a previous role for a regional brewery where they worked alongside each other for quite some time. This is where they made the decision to launch their own pub company after recognising that their combined experience, and contacts within the industry, provided them with a fantastic opportunity to take on some carefully selected sites from a variety of pub companies that had either just been redeveloped, or are about to undergo redevelopment. These locations needed strong management and a strong commercial focus which both Nick and Eddie can provide.
